Open a small slit in the dura mater with the blade, insert the guide part of the dura mater blade. Pinch one end of the dura mater with a pichette, add tension and cut the dura mater while pushing it. The tip and the lower portion of the blade is blunt and the inner part of blade is ultra-sharp. This prevents any damage to the underlying tissue during incisions in the dura.

Cut the arachnoid membrane on the tissue and the blood vessel with the circular blade while gently pushing it. A depth controller, which is just behind the 0.3 mm incision, prevents damage to deeper tissue.

The arachnoid membrane running on the blood vessel dense area can be cut safely with this blade. The saw-tooth tip prevents unwanted glide in the critical areas.
